The Bob Williams Heritage Cup and Drivers School weekend starts off SVRA’s 2018 season points races. This weekend SVRA honors the early traditions of vintage racing offering a low pressure event with abundant track time on a track perfect for sports car racing. This event launches this season’s Mazda Miata Heritage Cup series and the vintage B-Sedan Challenge Series, a new national multi club race program. The Mazda Miata is the feature marque.
The Drivers School provides a comprehensive racing curriculum and on-track program that focuses on safety, driving skills and vintage racing etiquette. The track is safe and forgiving with ample run off room. Students completing the SVRA Drivers School may end the weekend instruction and races with an SVRA membership and license.
Roebling Road Raceway opened in 1959, is characterized by it’s towering trees and Spanish Moss. This 2.02-mile, 9-turn road course features some of the fastest combinations of corners in the country. The Bob Williams Heritage Cup & Drivers School has a sound allowance for vintage cars up to 104db.
